"Since 1999 I worked as an entrepreneur in the art, and entertainment industries in Europe and the U.S. In 2012 the shift happened, along with the direction of my focus as an artist, a developer and social entrepreneur. I've since been committed to developing project's and businesses with artists, entrepreneurs, culture makers, community leaders, young men and small children who are interested in improving their lives and making a positive impact on the planet. As an artist I use my voice to carry the message through singing, story telling, oration, and poetry."
Azzurro
BIOGRAPHY
Starting as an event producer and promoter between 1999 - 2008 Azzurro built a foundation for his career producing premiere night-life events, fashion shows and concerts between Los Angeles and Ibiza.
From 2006-2009 Azzurro served as a talent manager for actors, writers, performing artists, and directors at the ROAR talent management agency in Beverly Hills, California.
As CEO of BOXeight Studios from 2009-2014, he served as Executive Producer to what were called the most impactful events during L.A. Fashion Week. He ran and managed daily operations of Los Angeles based Photography Studio, Art Collective, Gallery, and Event Space in Downtown Los Angeles. During this time he built a national footprint for several contemporary fashion brands while opening and operating pop-up contemporary art galleries in Berlin, Miami, and St. Barths.
From 2015 - 2018 Azzurro served as Executive Producer for Mack Sennett Studios and co-produced several nation wide experiential 10 day social justice art festivals with attendance of over 30,000 people. He also produced several network television shows, music videos, and national branded experiential advertising campaigns.
Since 2018 Azzurro has been working as a real estate developer, a holistic life and business coach, and a meditation facilitator. He’s developing several regenerative residential retreat centers in Los Angeles, Portugal and Lake Atitlan Guatemala and a soccer field for the children in Jaibalito, Guatemala. He started the Vision Development Agency supporting coaches and facilitators holistically grow their business and achieve financial freedom and serves as a leadership and mindfulness facilitator and mentor for men and children, and works as a social entrepreneur providing resources and infrastructure to marginalized indigenous communities. Azzurro also performs as a singer, songwriter, orator and poet around the world and founded Stories Of_Cre8ion and production and touring company of immersive transformational “Prayerformances.”
Azzurro has earned Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship from the USC Marshall School of Business, and a Bachelor's degree in World Literature from UCLA. He has received certifications as a Permaculture Designer from The Costa Rica Ecoversity Permaculture Design School, a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Instructor from Radiant Body Yoga in Rishikesh India, and a Transformational Training Facilitator and Personal Coach from M.I.T.T in Los Angeles.
